Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at the airport by a Celebrity Cruises® representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy free time to relax and settle in.
DAY 2 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2026
Quito
During a guided tour of Ecuador’s capital, situated at 9,350 feet above sea level, stand on the equatorial line at the Half of the World Park and Museum. Marvel at the monasteries of San Francisco and Santo Domingo. Your Tour Director will escort you throughout your stay and serve as your personal concierge. Enjoy lunch with spectacular city views and a welcome dinner at a local gourmet restaurant.
DAY 3 – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2026
Quito to Baltra – Embarkation
Transfer to the Quito airport for your flight to Baltra in the Galapagos, where naturalist guides will escort you to the ship.
Baltra Island – Departs 2:00 PM
During World War II, Baltra served as a U.S. military base protecting the Panama Canal. Today, its cactus-strewn landscape is home to the region’s main airport.
Daphne Major, a satellite volcanic cone north of Santa Cruz Island, is famous for the groundbreaking finch research conducted by Peter and Rosemary Grant, supporting Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
Your ship departs promptly at 2:00 PM. We recommend arriving 2–3 hours early for check-in and boarding. All ship amenities are open—enjoy a refreshing drink or snack as your adventure begins.
GALAPAGOS CRUISE
DAY 4 – MONDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2026
Egas Port – Santiago Island (Tendered 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
A black sand beach, tide pools, and blue-water grottoes offer opportunities to see shore birds, Galapagos hawks, sea lions, marine iguanas, and fur seals. Snorkeling may reveal tropical fish and sea turtles.
Rabida Island (Tendered 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Known for its distinctive red sand and volcanic landscape, Rabida is home to pelicans, sea lions, and various seabirds.
DAY 5 – TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2026
Elizabeth Bay (Tendered 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
A scenic Zodiac ride through mangroves offers sightings of diverse wildlife in this sheltered inlet.
Tagus Cove – Isabela Island (Tendered 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Once an anchorage for pirates and whalers, this dramatic setting features views of volcanoes and Darwin Lake. Wildlife sightings may include penguins, sea lions, sea turtles, seabirds, and flightless cormorants.
DAY 6 – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2026
Sullivan Bay – Santiago Island (Tendered 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Explore hardened lava flows formed during an early 1900s eruption. Walk among collapse craters, hornitos (lava ovens), red scoria cones, and hardy pioneer plants.
Bartolome Island (Tendered 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Home to one of the Galapagos’ most iconic views, Bartolome features dramatic volcanic formations and Pinnacle Rock. It is also a prime snorkeling location and habitat for the Galapagos penguin.
DAY 7 – THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2026
Las Bachas – Santa Cruz Island (Tendered 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
A beautiful white sand beach and important nesting site for Pacific green sea turtles. A short walk leads to a lagoon where flamingos and shorebirds may be seen.
Daphne Major (Sightseeing 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Circumnavigate this volcanic cone, an important breeding site for blue-footed boobies. Observe sea lions and seabirds along the cliffs.
North Seymour Island (Tendered 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Home to the largest colony of frigate birds in the Galapagos. Watch for male frigates displaying their red throat pouches and blue-footed boobies performing courtship dances. Sea lions and land iguanas also inhabit the island.
DAY 8 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2026
Puerto Baquerizo Moreno – San Cristobal Island (Tendered 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Visit the administrative capital of the Galapagos. Options include an interpretation center tour, shopping, or a scenic hike.
Punta Pitt – San Cristobal Island (Tendered 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Hike from a green sand beach to a plateau offering spectacular views. This is one of the few places where red-footed, blue-footed, and Nazca boobies nest together.
DAY 9
Puerto Ayora – Santa Cruz Island (Tendered 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
The islands’ main population center and home to the National Park Service tortoise-breeding center and the Charles Darwin Research Station.
DAY 10
Baltra Island – Arrives 7:00 AM
During World War II, Baltra served as a U.S. military base protecting the Panama Canal. Today, it is home to the region’s main airport.
Your cruise concludes this morning. Please plan flights accordingly.
3-DAY POST-TOUR – QUITO, ECUADOR

Baltra to Quito – Disembarkation
Transfer to the Baltra airport for your flight to Quito. Upon arrival, a Celebrity Cruises® representative will escort you to the JW Marriott hotel. Dinner is served at the hotel.
DAY 11 – MONDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2026
Quito
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Quito on your own. Breakfast included. Overnight at the JW Marriott.
DAY 12 – TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2026
Quito – Departure
After breakfast, your Celebrity Cruises® representative will escort you to the airport for your return flight home.
During the rainy season (January 1st – April 30th) the train service between Machu Picchu and Cuzco adopt a bimodal route due to weather. During this time all trains conclude their journey in the Ollantaytambo station upon return from Machu Picchu. Guests traveling during this period will disembark in the Ollantaytambo station, and will spend an additional night at El Tambo del Inca hotel in the Sacred Valley. After breakfast, guests will continue their journey to Cuzco as scheduled. All site visits and services remain the same. Please note this change does not add additional nights to the program and is offered for the safety and comfort of our guests.
